Turning the Machine Around: How Hockey Canada Developed it's LTAD Plan

Hockey needed to take a serious look at where it was at across the country at all levels. Surveys and questionnaires painted the picture and a plan was put in place. The resources necessary to implement the plan were then developed along with an evaluation system to ensure success.

Using the LTAD Model as a Basis for Implementing & Operating the Programs of a Canadian College

This presentation will illustrate how one Canadian college is using the LTAD model as a framework for coordinating its diverse programming. It will also discuss the potential for including the broader community in this programming and the potential for bringing together several different sports in developing LTAD principles.

Where CS4L Intersects with Health

Emily & Meghann will share the work done to date and will engage participants in identifying other areas in which CS4L can contribute to health outcomes and where the heath sector can contribute to the advancement of sport and physical activity.
